July 22, 2007  Communities in Bloom 2007 judges tour of Heritage Garden (taken from the City's website)

September 2008...no judging as no Communities in Bloom competition...Garden closed all summer.  I don't remember seeing anything
requesting volunteers to help with this garden do you? 

Overrun by weeds...a real embarrassment for our community. 

City has now taken over the upkeep of the Garden...Some heritage plants remain.
If there had been a competition this year do you think the Heritage Garden would have been so run down?
